Deep ruby with hints of garnet at the centre and a bright rim. A timeless composition of primary vibrance and carefully developed complexity. Juicy blackberries, fresh redcurrant and tobacco leaf, hatched with forest floor, dried herbs, cedar and leather. Crisp red fruits layered with autumn leaf, tilled earth and cedary characters all set a serious tone before opening up to red plum, dark cherry and black currant. Vital acidity, fruit flesh and taught, fine grained tannin build the framework for a long and elegantly structured palate.
